I don’t think that they took me seriously. I had ARNP Jessica and I went in because I was receiving these weird symptoms once she found out I smoked she basically was convinced it was because I smoked that I was having those symptoms and nothing more I also asked for an accommodation letter for my work and she did not even write one up or even mentioned it.

I was a walk in patient as I had just been in an accident.  I was treated immediately with great care and empathy upon arrival . I only had to wait 50 minutes to be seen and my laceration was cleaned and stitched up with great care and excellence. Each staff member was helpful and kind. Kelsea, PA did a stellar job with the anesthetic, stitches and answered all my questions with professional knowledge and care! I highly recommend Indigo Urgent Care in Airway Heights.

Was told I had a viral infection after being sick for 3 weeks and getting worse. Was not given antibiotics. Had to go the ER the following day and receive care along with Antibiotics for a severe sinus infection that was causing an immense sore throat. Indigo should have provided antibiotics to me. Was a waste of time to go to indigo. Staff was not knowledgeable and should have provided medicine.

Came in for a sinus infection and Jennifer is only interested in following guidelines. She doesn't listen to the patient and their complaints and the history. I wont be using this facility again. I reviewed my after visit notes and documentation was incorrect. Vitals were not accurate and she did not perform all the exams that she said. She only did a visual of the ears and throat. My chart notes state she visualized nasal congestion and palpated my maxillary sinuses, which she did neither.

MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care, CDA - 2836 N Ramsey Rd
Went in for a sinus infection. Front staff and Dr. were great. However, once I got in the room and vitals taken, I waited almost an hour for the Dr to do the exam. Afterwards, they forgot to send the prescription to the pharmacy, so had to waste more time and an extra trip to the pharmacy waiting for that to get filled. Liked the office staff and the Dr was great, but not a great experience at all. Will most likely not be returning

Getting Tested for STDs in Spokane, WA

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are under the age of 25, or are men who have sex with men, as these groups are at a higher risk according to the CDC. Regular testing is crucial as many STDs often present no symptoms but can lead to serious health complications if left untreated.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is an essential part of maintaining good sexual health. Early detection and treatment can prevent the spread of these diseases and reduce the risk of long-term health problems such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Additionally, knowing your status can help you make informed decisions about your sexual health and protect your partners.

STD testing options in Spokane, WA:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

Spokane offers a variety of urgent care and walk-in clinics for STD testing, including Indigo and Franklin Park Urgent Care Center. These clinics often provide same-day and next-day appointments, which can be booked through Solv's website and mobile app.

Primary care providers

At-home testing

At-home STD testing kits are also an option. These kits can be ordered online, used in the privacy of your own home, and then sent to a lab for testing.

Prevalence of STDs in Spokane

Compared to nearby counties such as Mineral and Glacier, Spokane has a higher rate of STDs, highlighting the importance of regular testing in this area.

Risk factors related to STDs in Spokane

Several factors contribute to the high prevalence of STDs in Spokane. These include high rates of unprotected sex, multiple sexual partners, and a lack of regular testing. Additionally, certain populations, such as young people and men who have sex with men, are at a higher risk. It's important to note that anyone who is sexually active can get an STD, so regular testing is crucial for all.
