Got food poisoning while traveling and booked an appointment the day of my return to be seen. The wait time was minimal and scheduling and pre paperwork were easy. I had no food or proper liquids for the past 3 days and am experiencing extreme vomiting and diarrhea. Intake was rushed, no bloodwork was done, I was given a stool sample kit to take home. They infiltrated the IV in my arm, causing swelling and pain, and I only got a quarter of a bag of fluid into my body. No hot compress or other help offered, no additional IV point offered to get me more fluid. They told me that in anti nausea meds were called into my pharmacy, which I just went to, and the pharmacy didn’t receive the prescription order. I will now need to call back to request that the prescription be sent again. Horrible experience when I already feel awful and have no energy. I had to pay $200 out of pocket even with insurance. I will likely just go to a different care facility tomorrow to actually get an IV and bloodwork done.

Was not impressed with the bedside manner of the PA. He prescribed a medicine the would counter act qith my warfin. I would have never known but the person at Walmart would not fill it because of this. I called the office to let them know what he did. The MA said that they would call another one in but they would be closing so give it an hour for it to go through. I waited over an hour called the pharmacy and they told me nothing had come through yet. So at 6 I called the Broomfield office and they did a wonderful job. I got my medication. I feel that more supervision should be at that location in thornton. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THUS TO ANYONE.

I called to see how the wait looked as we were unable to schedule online due to it being within the hour of closing. They said it would be 30-45 minutes and we should go to another location. We decided to just come here as it would take just as long to go to the other and wait there. Staff appeared very short with us. Rushing us through paperwork. The nurse took us back right away. Typically they are very kind but this time it was stand here do this, no smile, no real interaction. The next nurse came in and swabbed my child’s throat immediately and the doctor was in quickly as well. We always really enjoy it here, we were just surprised by the check in process this time around.

I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Golden Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but the infection is more common in some groups, including young people aged 15-24 and gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men. It's recommended that sexually active women under 25, older women with new or multiple sex partners, and pregnant women get tested for chlamydia annually. Men who have sex with men should also get tested at least once a year.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease that can be easily cured. However, if left untreated, it can make it difficult for a woman to get pregnant. In men, untreated chlamydia can cause a condition called nongonococcal urethritis. Regular testing is important because chlamydia can be asymptomatic, meaning it can exist in the body without causing any noticeable symptoms. Early detection and treatment can prevent these complications.
