I would give 0 stars if possible!!!

I came in today due to having difficulty breathing, chest pain, nausea, vomiting, and spells of getting dizzy/ faint. My solution, as Dr. M. McDaniels told me, was to go home and take a pregnancy test!!!! I have him details about how I couldn't breathe when lying down, etc and he did nothing in his assessment to rule out anything. He simply looked at my vitals and just spouted off something to get me out. He didn't do labs... no chest X-ray... nothing! I am an RN and patients are not to be treated that way! He acted like I was a waste of his time. He told me that my shortness of breath could be due to drinking alcohol. I don't even drink! He was judgemental and was no help to me at all. Needless to say, I have an appointment tomorrow to see what's really going on! I will NEVER go back there!!

    Worse place ever

I took my boyfriend here because he was really sick and he had worked a 18 hour shift. Figuring it was going to help him they said nothing was wrong with him the PA with the blonde hair... said he had no infections nothing they prescribed him cough syrup to a pharmacy that was closed and so it was a waste of time so I waited to get in with his doctor like 2 days later he had a respiratory infection, ear infection, a asthma attack and sinus infection so if he would of died you would of gotten sued. Worse place ever I don't recommend taking anyone here period

    unprofessional

I have been here a while ago and had a great experience. This time I noticed they have hired a PA (I wonder if it is the same blonde mentioned above) who once worked at MedExpress. She was unprofessional at MedExpress and I stopped going after I saw here there once. After seeing her at St. Mary's today I realized that St. Mary's must have lowered their hiring standards and after my experience with her, I see she has not improved.

    Would give zero if possible

Completely unprofessional and the DR acted like I was just a waste of time. I went in the first time for a very bad pain in my knee. The DR. said, Well, it's not broken. It could be bursitus." Then he basicly said bye and left. No discharge paperwork or recommendations or anything. The 2nd time I went (and I would NOT have went back if I had had any other choice) was for a very bad pain in my side. He VERY roughly poked around on my side (which was excruciating being that I was already in so much pain) and said that I might have a cyst on my ovary. No tests or anything. Again, just a good bye and so long. No paperwork or anything. When I asked for any kind of discharge paperwork the receptionist looked at me as if I were crazy. Also the average wait times were about an hour ... not really what I'd call urgent care. I never go to a DR. unless I am in sever pain and it's absolutely necessary. This place is a very big joke and a huge waste of time though.

    Horrible Doctor!

I came in for a cough which was causing pain in my chest. I also had pain in my back and my knees. I pretty much just wanted to make sure I wasn't coming down with the flu or something else. The nurse that helped me was very kind but when the doctor came in he was extremely rude. He asked me if I had taken any cough syrup and took one glance down my throat then told me that he would call me in some. He made a comment about how it was only "$1" for cough syrup and was suggesting that since I had a cell phone that I should be able to afford it. I will never go back there.

The experience I had today was one of the worse experiences I've had ever. The receptionist was pilot. But the nurse got rude with my family member that drove me. I called after 3 days ago after I went in very sick and I was told I should come back in if I wasn't better in 3 days. I waited till day 6. No improvement. The doctor talked down to me so bad, I walked out after he left the room. I have a witness. She said , she had never seen staff so rude.
He acted like I was an inconvenience to him because I returned seeking treatment.
St. Mary's I would be ashamed to have my name associated with the 5th Ave. Huntington staff.

    Horrible experience !!!

I just got done visiting this location, and a Dr. Mark McDaniel was the one who had "seen" me today. He walked in and didn't even say hi or anything, but felt the need to say "sorry, but I have the flu" I asked him if he was serious, Bc I legit thought he was kidding. Given he was WEARING NO MASK. He said no, I'm not kidding. No one else could come in today, so I'm here with the flu. He asked my symptoms again, and I said well I'm concerned I have the flu as well because it's going around my work. After checking my lungs, barely my throat and my ears he said well you don't have a fever, so I'm not going to swab you for the flu. Plus he said I would be feeling like him if I had the flu.... ummmm. How does he know how I feel. I wouldn't be coming in on a Saturday morning because I felt good.... he told me to get sudafed, and if I got worse to come in... but he thought I was fine.
I will never return here again!!!!! I paid for a service because I'm sick, not be talked down to, OR be told HE HAS THE FLU!!
