I was very surprised with my experience here. My appointment was made very quickly. I was seen in a very short period of time. My test results came back in a very timely manner. I was able to speak with a doctor soon after and was taking care of. I was very satisfied with the experience I had here. I definitely recommend using them for any issues you have or any questions you may have.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My husband visited ProHealth Urgent Care on Riverwood Dr in Pewaukee a week ago and was seen by Lindsay Mantey, APNP. She was personable and very thorough. After a chest x-ray she prescribed an antibiotic and full instructions on how to take it as well as OTCs for symptom relief. He felt way better within a couple of days. Everyone at that facility has always been friendly and helpful. It's our "go to" place when needed.

Getting Tested for STDs in Pewaukee, WI

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), especially if they have multiple sexual partners or are not using protection consistently. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk and should be tested regularly. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and anyone with HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for a number of reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not exhibit symptoms immediately, meaning you could be infected and not know it. This not only puts your health at risk, but it also increases the chance of spreading the disease to others. Secondly, early detection of STDs often leads to more effective treatment. Finally, getting tested can provide peace of mind and encourage healthier sexual behaviors.
