My daughter fractured her finger playing volleyball. Due to the Gateway location not having x-ray that day we went to the White Oak location. Both places were very helpful and my daughter felt at ease with the situation. I definitely recommend both locations.

I've been here a few times. Always a friendly staff. Never a long wait time. Dr. Karkain was thorough and provided suggestions on what type of vitamins are important in fighting off my illness, which was very helpful. Most doctors these days just prescribe meds and send you on your way. Great place, in my opinion.

My husband and I are both patients of Kristopher Inman, PA at the Culpeper Medical Center.. He is one of the most talented medical professionals we have had the privilege of being treated by. His staff, especially his nurse Casey, is also very efficient but also friendly and caring. His recommendations of specialists have all been tremendous doctors. The only complaint we have is that Kristopher is not a member of the UVA health system. We both would highly recommend the Culpeper Medical Clinic!

This place is awesome. I can’t believe some of the reviews are so low. We have been going there for 10+ years for Urgent care. The staff is always friendly, and accommodating. The medical physician, physicians assistant are always excellent, listening to your concerns and working with you for treatment. This is not my primary care facility, but for quick needs, it’s the best!

Getting Tested for STDs in Culpeper, VA

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the CDC, everyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially those with multiple sexual partners or those who engage in unprotected sex. Regular testing is also recommended for those who share injection drug equipment. It's important to remember that STDs often show no symptoms, so testing is the only sure way to know your status.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, it helps in early detection and treatment, preventing the disease from progressing to more serious stages. Secondly, it helps to prevent the spread of the disease to others. Lastly, certain STDs can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV.
