    Wait Time

    You could die while waiting

The staff is really friendly. They told me it would be 2 hour wait total. It was 2hr 20min. Not a big deal, but I had my 4,5 & 7 year old with me. It felt like forever, especially since 7 people who checked in after me were called back before me. My insurance had expired(due to a job transfer) so I paid $170 just to see a Dr. I was experiencing UTI symptoms. I had to pee in a cup, but that particular bathroom didn't have running water (don't miss), no hand washing available until you exit the bathroom. Once all my vitals were taken we were put in an exam room. The Dr. Came in and acted like it was a big inconvience that I had my children with me. Sorry, i couldn't tie them with a leash to the closest light pole! He asked all my symptoms again, ummmm READ my stats! Then asked if I had any allergies (NEVER once mentioned test results). When I said which 3 medications I'm "allergic" to he asked me to describe my reaction. He then lectured me on what an allergy actually is. He said that I should NEVER use the word allergy unless it's life treating, and to say "I have an adverse reaction" to those particular medications. Well, a Dr. Told me I'm allergic to them and when they take your information, I guess they should ask for allergies or "adverse reactions". I had to go back to the waiting room for another 10 minutes to wait for my prescription that he wrote saying " well, I guess our hands are tied so this is the next best option for a prescription". Too bad the Dr. Sucked, the staff was nice.
