I have been here dozens of times. The staff is always friendly and professional. If you are going in for Urgent Care, the wait times may be longer than you're used to, but this is the fastest Urgent Care clinic I have ever been to and it is always faster than the local ER. They are also one of the only places in town that sees patients after 5.

Getting Tested for STDs in McMinnville, TN

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their healthcare routine. This is particularly important for those who have multiple partners, are under the age of 25, or are men who have sex with men, as these groups are at a higher risk according to the CDC. Pregnant women should also be tested for certain STDs to prevent potential health complications for both mother and baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for a number of reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning you could be infected and unknowingly passing the infection to others. Secondly, early detection is key to effective treatment and can prevent long-term health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Finally, getting tested contributes to the overall reduction of STDs in the community, helping to protect everyone's health.
