My experience was awesome even though I felt pretty bad. I saw Dr. Rhodes, a very nice man and excellent physician. He took his time to listen and took great care of me. I had seen him before and he made sure he was up to date with my records. His office staff and Nurses were very nice and I would recommend them to friends and anyone that ask me where to go to a doctor.

    What a Horrible Experience

Horrible ...These people PUMP out antibiotics and send you on your way. Actually my insurance covered everything, they were informed that I am allergic to ampicillian however gave me a 'cousin' brand. I was almost hospitalized due to their negligence ........ Avoid at all cost. These people give a new meaning to Doc in a Box......Go elsewhere, there are better clinics, and please do your research on them, especially the king pin, Dr Rhodes.

Do not go here, an opinion of a nurse

Do not go here if you want compassionate care. This is lengthy, but worth the read.

Initially I was very impressed with the doctors here, especially Dr. Rhoades. However, now I am extremely disappointed in their actions and felt compelled to write a review. I got in a car accident a few weeks ago and was seen twice by this urgent care. Medication was prescribed for the pain I have been experiencing (no narcotics). I have been getting chiropractor adjustments 3 times a week because of my accident, so I have had a lot of inflammation and stiffness. Dr. Rhoades told me to call back if I was still having pain, and chiropractors cannot prescribe medication. Because of this, I was calling to ask for a refill on a muscle relaxer. I was told to see my primary care provider. I told them I don't have a primary care provider (we are new to the area) which is why I was calling them. They falsified my documents and put a primary care doctor that I've never even heard of in my file. When they realized this was an error, they then admitted that the doctor working (I think Dr. Francke) did not want to "step on the toes of Dr. Rhoades by prescribing the medication when he (Dr. Rhoades) had seen me most recently". Dr. Rhoades was unavailable, he was in the Florence office and they didn't know when he would be back. I was encouraged to go to the ER instead or call back when Dr. Rhoades is working.. but again, they didn't know when that would be.

I am a nurse and wouldn't lie about pain. I have never written a bad review before, but I haven't ever been treated this way in my life. This was malpractice and negligent. A respectable practitioner of medicine wouldn't deny a patient medication because they don't want to offend their medical director. And an ER is for true medical emergencies, not muscle pain. To encourage me to go there instead is to abuse our hospital system. A physician should use their best judgement and care about the patient. All this physician cared about was the feelings of his director.

So in conclusion, I believe in medicine and YOU deserve to have your physician want to help you, to heal you. I don't recommend you go to the ER if it's not life threatening, but go anywhere but here.
