Went in on Halloween Day after playing PickleBall locally and feeling my left hip pop out of place. It really hurt and I couldn’t play any longer. Another player mentioned your facility in Moss Creek. I went there snd was seen fairly quickly, then X-rayed, met to discuss the findings, got a steroid shot to clam my inflammation and a referral for 12 weeks of Physical Therapy to strengthen my hip joint. They were quick, responsive to.my concerns and I would recommend them. Even at 9:30, I was the 2nd PickleBall case they had seen that morning’

Getting Tested for STDs in Hilton Head Island, SC

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners or engage in unprotected sex. Certain groups may be at a higher risk, including young adults, men who have sex with men, and individuals who use intravenous drugs. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as STDs can have serious health impacts on both the mother and baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning you could be infected and unknowingly spreading the disease. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and transmission. Secondly, some STDs can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Lastly, getting tested is a key part of responsible sexual health and can help protect your partners.
