    $200 for what????

    I was bitten by 5 Lyme infected ticks and went to this office because I didn't have a regular doctor. Ms. Hunt saw me the first time - didn't waste more than 5 min on me, looked at the bullseye and prescribed 2 wks ABs and was gone. I went back 2 wks. later because I had issues with swelling and severe pains - the person who saw me then was much nicer and took the time to listen to me and sent me to H Spirit for ultrasound AND said the recommended dose for Lyme is 21 days minimum. I came back in today because I was still having issues and wanted to see if they would extend the ABs another week to insure that it killed off the lyme and didn't leave me with an active infection. Saw Hunt again - she never bothered to read my chart. SHe just asked what I wanted and when I tried to explain she just became agitated and wanted to know why I felt I should have more and that 21 days was more than enough and I should just go get a regular doctor to handle all my problems. I have had issues finding a doctor and when I explained that I was trying she said =- just keep trying. I pointed out that I still had the tick bites that weren't healing and she accused me of scratching them and then told me to go see a skin specialist. By this time I was very upset and started to get up to leave and she informed me in a nasty tone that I couldn't leave until she processed my papers. I think she was arrogant, rude and I think her problem is that she didn't know what to do so she fell back on being a B!!! so she wouldn't have to admit that she was too stupid and lazy to bother to do anything. I came to this office several years ago when I broke my knee at work and everyone was very nice. After this - I won't come back for anything - I don't need to blow $200 just to get attitude. I would have been Ok with not getting anything if she had taken the time to explain why I couldn't have anymore. Instead I got snarky attitude and basically treated like I was 5 yr. old who'd asked for 3 pcs of cake or something. Just for the record - I do have an appt. with a doctor - they can't take me until JANUARY.
