I am an elderly woman and had bumped my arm with the storm door. It tore a large section of skin on Friday night. On Saturday I went to Urgent Care. The skin had rolled down and was still seeping blood.Very gently the physician soaked my arm in soapy water for several minutes. She then put the skin in place and put Neosporin on it with a non stick pad and wrap . I was very impressed

Getting Tested for STDs in Sidney, OH

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or do not consistently use protection. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk, including young people aged 15-24, men who have sex with men, and pregnant women. It's important to remember that many STDs often show no symptoms, so regular testing is crucial even if you feel healthy.

Importance of getting tested

Many STDs can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Second, it protects the health of your sexual partners. Knowing your status allows you to take steps to prevent the transmission of any STDs to others. Finally, it contributes to public health efforts to track and control the spread of STDs.
