QUICKmed Urgent Care, Ravenna Urgent Care - 402 S Chestnut St
This was my first visit there and I scheduled an appointment online and completed all the paperwork online. I arrived 10 minutes early and signed some documents and waited for an hour before I was called. The staff was nice and apologized for my wait and the doctor I saw was very nice but I doubt I’ll go back there

Getting Tested for STDs in Green, OH

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially those with multiple partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sexual activity. It's also important for people who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia to get tested, as this can also be a method of transmission. According to the CDC, regular testing is recommended for those in these risk groups, as many STDs can be asymptomatic but still harmful if left untreated.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms but can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Regular testing can ensure early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications. Secondly, knowing your STD status can help protect your sexual partners from infection. Lastly, some STDs can increase the risk of contracting HIV, making regular testing even more important for those at risk.
