Went on Saturday with bad cough and complaint of difficulty breathing. Told the physician that I had pneumonia last summer and I was feeling the same way. He told me I had allergies gave me some kind of prescription allergy medication and a cough medicine. I got worse the next day with 103 fever and chills. I went to Urgent Care in Great Neck where I was diagnosed correctly with pneumonia. I don't if this cookie cutter medical treatment, it being allergy season. But I could have ended up in the hospital.
