Amazing experience for my son attending Oneonta
My son has been to the Fox Emergency room twice, and he is only in his first year at Oneonta. Very bad experience. This time, number 3, he heard about the Urgent Care center and decided to go there for an illness. The woman at the front desk was AMAZING, my son raved about her. He was in and out of the office, sent to Rite Aide to get his prescription which they had called over, and back in his dorm within two hours. The doctor was understanding, kind and informative, and again, whoever the lady was at the window, was so friendly, so helpful, and made my son feel welcome and safe. I am thrilled and feel like I can rest easier knowing there is a place that my son can go to when he gets hurt during sports, or is not feeling well. From one mom to another, send your kid here if they are not feeling well. The cab fare for one was $7 each way, compared to the $1500. bill I got for an ambulance ride when he broke his ankle during a volleyball game a couple of months ago. Cheaper, and friendly. Five Stars from Long Island!
