Prompt Care at Cortland Hospital No Longer Good

"Prompt Care," now called 'Fast Track,' is now treated by the Emergency Room and triaged by the Cortland Hospital ER. As explained to me by hospital staff, if there are ER patients in greater need, they will be seen first. In recent past, 'Prompt Care' had their own dept and you were seen by one of two fine doctors. Now seen by nurse practitioner, who in my case did not ask about my meds (nor did the nurse) and prescribed a med that would react adversely with a med I was on. A Kinney Drugs pharmacist caught this and explained why the prescription could not be filled. In future, I will go to Cayuga Urgent Care, on Rte. NYS 281 (on "The Commons") in Cortland, where there are MDs and you can even register ahead on-line that you're on the way, giving an estimated time of your arrival.
