Aspen Medical Center Urgent Care - 3450 Zafarano Dr, Santa Fe
Disappointed that the medical staff expected a 8 year old to answer medical questions- solely because parents are Deaf. Interpreters should be provided. Even if it's Video Remote interpreting- which is readily available for use 24/7.

Quest Diagnostics - 3005 S St Francis Dr
I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Short Wait Time

I was tired everyday and felt so discouraged as there is no time to go to a doctor these days when I take care of an elderly relative. I was even thinking the end must be near for me Oh! what a relief to be able to walk right into this well organized clinic —so vested in top notch Doctors —providing me immediate, and the best in quality care, and the Trinity care doctors gave immediate assurance and the assurance that antibiotics would work. They did!! Thank you for being there for people pressed for time and I liken you to the old time country doctors that genuinely care!!

Short Wait Time

I was suffering for many days with allergies problems. Went to Presbyterian Urgent care for the first time, not knowing what to expect. I did not know that I had to make an appointment. I was informed that they were very busy and gave me an appointment for a couple of hours later. My son and I left, we were a couple of blocks from the office and I received a call from the check in nurse to come back, they had a spot for me. (thank God.) The staff, from the front desk, nurse, and the doctor in charge were just great. I am new to Santa Fe, and did not know what to expect from a new area. My first experience with this company was the best. They took great care of me an I will always be thankful. Mrs. Williams

Getting Tested for STDs in Espanola, NM

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially those who have multiple sexual partners or are in a relationship with someone who does. It's also important for individuals who have had unprotected sex or shared needles for drug use to get tested. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young people aged 15-24 and men who have sex with men.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining your sexual health and preventing the spread of these diseases. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms, but can still cause serious health complications if left untreated. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and transmission to others.

Free STD testing and community health centers

For those without insurance or who are concerned about cost, free STD testing may be available at community health centers. It's important to check with the individual center for details on what they offer and any eligibility requirements.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits are another option for those who prefer privacy. These kits can be ordered online, used at home, and then sent back to a lab for analysis. Results are typically available within a few days.
