    HORRIBLE PLACE THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS!!!!!!!

    I went to this location on Tuesday, March 7th (2017). The FastMed site states ""Our friendly staff is trained to check you in, determine your health issues, and get you on the road to recovery as efficiently as possible." In real life: I was taken back by an unprofessional nurse who did not call my name (she just nodded at me--had I not been the only patient in there, I would not have known it was my turn to be seen). The physician assistant, Ron, told me to go to the ER, there was nothing he would be able to do without showing concern or examining me. He also told me the only thing he would be allowed to do is a urinalysis--he would not be able to scan anything, etc. However, the FastMed states: "Offering walk-in services, our procedures help to ensure we address your healthcare concerns quickly so you can get back to the activities you enjoy. In addition, all of our clinics are equipped with on-site labs and X-rays so you don’t have to go somewhere else to get the information you and your healthcare provider need to diagnosis and treat your medical needs."

    I sent an email to Jessica Pendola, Chief Compliance Officer, who I have not gotten a response from. I spoke to billing because I was billed for services I DID NOT receive--I was not even examined and have yet to receive a response from the Regional Medical Director, Dr. Puri. This is fraudulent activity, so anyone considering this location DO NOT GO HERE and SPREAD THE WORD THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY! Health concerns are nothing to play around with!

    DO NOT GO TO FASTMED URGENT CARE!!! There are plenty of other options.

    1. WRONG/INACCURATE DIAGNOSIS
    2. WILL PUSH SUPPLIES ON YOU THAT YOU DON'T NEED
    3. A WASTE OF TIME
    4. WILL COST YOU

    This place is horrible and a complete waste of time. I went in to this Urgent Care due to an ankle injury and the Dr. (likely not even a real Dr.) requested x-rays and couldn't tell "for sure" if I had a fractured ankle or not, but said that I likely do and recommended I go see another Dr. to get the expert opinion. I did and the next day and it turned out to just be a sprain.

    The nurses and Dr., due to my incorrect diagnosis of a fractured ankle kept suggesting that I need crutches and a brace for my "fracture," even after I had communicated that I had crutches at home and didn't need them. They continued to press that I needed them and didn't mention anything about them being an extra cost to which I also assumed they wouldn't be an extra cost because I was covered in network(a question I made sure to ask at check-in to avoid crazy medical costs) with my health care provider, right? Wrong. Turns out some of the suppliers that FastMed uses are billed differently and outside of the network/FastMed Urgent care coverage of costs. Meaning that the supplies were not able to be covered by my healthcare provider. Meaning I got stuck with a large amount of money that I had to pay to this supplier after my visit for a WRONG DIAGNOSIS and for SUPPLIES I DIDN'T NEED.

    This place was a complete waste of time, and resources and will end up costing you. Find another urgent care to go to. There are many other options. This place is everything that is wrong with our healthcare system.
