Pro-Health Urgent Care, Gaylord - 1723 M-32
My favorite place, love that the facility is urgent care and also family practice. Dr. Kovolski is very caring, sweet and will take time to answer all questions. The staff is very friendly. The care I received is great the cost is reasonable. The wait time was not bad, check in process was fine, very easy to book appointment.

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their healthcare routine. This is especially important for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or have had an STD in the past. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young people aged 15-24, men who have sex with men, and individuals with compromised immune systems.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial in maintaining your overall health and preventing the spread of disease. Early detection can lead to more effective treatment, reducing the risk of serious complications. Moreover, many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning you may not know you have one unless you get tested. Regular testing also helps to prevent the spread of STDs to your sexual partners.
