New urgent care center in on Memorial Drive, Chicopee MA
Convenience is perfect-easy in and out on Memorial Drive in Chicopee. (in East Coast Mkt parking lot but on the other end)
Parking was a breeze.
Front desk service was ok. A bit lack luster, didn’t feel warm and friendly.
MD care- Terrific. Inquisitive, personable, listed options, provided education, made sure he knew my pharmacy. I will recommend him to my friends and send my adult children to Dr. Ahmed Elmogy. Great alternative option to the ED.

THEIR TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY IS CONSISTENT WITH THEIR MISSION STATEMENT
We came to the Urgent Care Center in Chicopee and received excellent care after being turned away from the Amherst AEIOU Occupational and Urgent Healthcare Center on University Drive in Amherst simply because we walked in 25 minutes before their posted closing time and they said they would not have time to treat her; they were not even willing to look at it and advise us. My child had sliced her finger skating at the nearby Mullins Center and we thought it may need stitches. It was a relatively minor injury, requiring only 4 stitches in the end. What started out as a disappointing and frustrating encounter at the Amherst AEIOU ended up a positive experience at the URGENT CARE CENTER ON MEMORIAL DRIVE IN CHICOPEE. Rather than taking the clock-obsessed approach like the clinic in Amherst, we were told in Chicopee that they would have seen and treated my child even if we had come in 5 minutes before closing. Not was their manner more welcoming and helpful, the hours are essentially 12-hour days weekdays AND weekends, unlike the Amherst clinic that operates more like a bank (11 a.m to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays). Fortunately for us, the Chicopee clinic is true to their mission of providing urgent care to the community so cases like ours don't have to languish in the waiting room of the local hospital ER. Thank you for your caring approach to patient care!
