I was misdiagnosed and given a prescription that was not appropriate for a dialysis patient. After taking only 3 doses I suffered severe side effects that lasted for days. I have reported this to the Louisiana Medical Board and to Premier Care who oversees Lake Urgent Care. An investigation is ongoing. I will never return to this office. Peggy Fairchild

I brought my one year old son to get check out. He was sick with cold like symptoms so I wanted to get him checked out to make sure he didn’t catch the flu and to make sure nothing else was going on. His eyes were low and one was red, he was running 102 fever, so it was obvious he wasn’t feeling well. They did the typical routine check, or so it appeared they did. And finally and hour later, not to mention the prior 45 min it took for the actual “doctor” to come check him out, the test came back negative, great. They sent me home said nothing else was wrong and to come back if his temp kept rising. Well a day goes by and he doesn’t seem to be getting better, so I decide to bring him to his regular pediatrician. Within 10 min she tells me he has a double ear infection, and pink eye, along with a cold! So you tell me how a “doctor” fails to notice the day before that his ears are red, his eyes are red and crusted over, but doesn’t even mention it to me?!? Come on, that’s just bad practice. You can count on me to never go there again and I will advocate anyone I know to steer clear from that location. They need to get their priorities in check!
