Coffee Regional First Care, Walk In Clinic - 1301 Peterson Ave S
After a few days battling the crud waking up to a fever and achy feeling all over I was able to schedule an appt online and got in to see provider John Rowe, PA-C which was very professional and compassionate. Nurse Amanda was also amazing. I had 2 shots while there and didn't hardly even feel either one. This was my first visit to the First Care Clinic and it was a great experience. The clinic was very clean and cozy. I will choose them again if I need urgent care. Thanks for your A+ service.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

Getting Tested for STDs in Douglas, GA

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk and should get tested regularly. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV. In Douglas, GA, it's important for residents to be proactive about their sexual health and get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning you could be infected and not know it. This not only puts your health at risk but also the health of your sexual partners. Secondly, early detection of STDs can lead to more effective treatment. Lastly, getting tested can help prevent the spread of STDs in the community. According to the CDC, STD rates have been on the rise in recent years, making regular testing more important than ever.
