    Front staff is awful

    I was completely disappointed with the front staff. They didn't run my insurance properly and made me put down a $50.00 deposit to have my son seen, then upon checkout charged me another $51.24 which is ridiculous considering all my deductibles had been met. Trying to get them to resolve the issue has been a pain. I go back to the office after speaking with Tricare and confirming they overcharged me and they told me their office manager wasn't in and they couldn't refund my money until she was there. I asked if there was a number she could be reached at and no one had her number, sounds a little weird to me that you don't have a number to reach your office manager at. I called today only to be told they will take my information and send it to St.Franics for them to mail me a check. They could have done that yesterday. If you have Tricare call while your there to confirm about your deductibles. The lady I dealt with seemed incompetent on how to run insurance and so forth. I will never go there again.

    got there only 2 other patients there i waited about 1/2 hour for the receptionist to calls me gives me paperwork to fill out thrn i wsited about another 20 minutes why...receptionist tells me i have met my deductable but i must pay $50 so i could be seen why i have medicare i dont pay no more than $14 she said thats is what they charge i dont have that amount i only have $20 she ssid we need the $50 or we cant see you. What kind of urgent care is this.they refused to see me cause i didnt have the money to pay mean while i have bronchitis i thought no medical facility could refuse to see a patient .i would not recomend this place to anyone ...

    Front receptionist very rude

    One of the receptionists was extremely rude because she had to help grandmother get tricatr insurance information from mother who was not there. Father is deployed, mother had to work on child's Christmas break, child got sick with possible ear infection and grandmother was doing all she could to get child seen. The receptionist treated grandmother like she was an idiot and after heated "discussion", people were seen before her that had come in after her. I won't leave a name but she may need to find some other job if not happy with the one she has. Unhelpful, irritated, extremely rude check in receptionist.. Beware!

    I was staying in Calloway Gardens on vacation from Texas. I woke up with pink eye in BOTH eyes, ugh! I went online searching for the closest urgent care that accepts Tricare, and found this one. It had awful reviews, but I needed help fast. I drove there, they did say they need authorization first from Tricare. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. I started calling and finally got the authorization. I was then only charged $12 and was seen immediately. The nurse pracitioner who saw me was ex-military and explained which antibiotic she was using and why. She asked where I was filling the prescription, I told her across the street at rite aide since I'm from out of town. She showed me her name and number on the paper prescription she handed me and told me if it wasn't in stock, to have the Rite Aide pharmacist call her, and she would authorize a different prescription over the phone.
    Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant, I guess there have been a lot of changes since the last reviews.
    Rite Aide did have my prescription in stock and filled it in 10 min. for $3 :)
