Worst urgent care
I decided to post a review after all I've been dealing with this office. This office don't even deserve a 1 star. I took my 11 years old son late in January, he had a lot stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea. I decided to take him to this "urgent" care since it was Sunday, they were only two patients on the wait room and we had to wait over 30 minutes to the first the nurse, oh and by the way their system was not working so the lady at the front office wanted to charge me $50 for that visit when with my insurance the co pay is $25 or $35 for specialist..well I ended up paying $40, here comes the worst, my son was diagnosed with apendicitis and was advise to take him immediately to the emergency room, the doctor was really nice but had no idea what he was talking about. He even wanted me to call an ambulance!
I took my son to the Childrens hospital, since of course I was so worry about my son and the diagnosed that doctor gave him. The nurse at the hospital pretty much almost laugh and she said my son didn't have apendicitis but a stomach bug, he was given medicine for the vomit and that was it thank goodness.
Of course I contacted the office after that and Britney at the front office could care less about my complaint. I finally was able to emailed Amy P and she apologized for the inconvenience and agreed to refund my co-pay. This week I received a bill from MedPost because the insurance paid them "only" $149 for that 5 minutes the doctor saw him, and there was a remaining balance I was responsible. Shame of them! I would be more than happy to pay if I would have received the right service. I was billed over $600 from the hospital due to my insurance deductible not met yet for a stomach bug that this "urgent" care was not able to handle. Worst Urgent care, not sure if they cant handle children that a doctor can so miss diagnosed a simple stomach bug with apendicitis. I do not recommend this urgent care at all, it is obvious they only care about the money and not the service they provide.
