ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!
One Sunday this fall, I was stung (bee? spider?) in my yard. By Monday, it was a hot, swollen, 3" red spot, so I went to St. V walk in. They told me it was not a tick bite (I knew this, ticks are slow and stealthy, this was quick and painful) and to use an OTC like Benadryl. For this I received a bill for $270!!! I could only question the bill by mail (they clearly don’t want to make it easy for patients to do so, by phone or email). I sent a letter on 12/7 - it is now 1/27 and I have yet to hear back from them, aside from many statements for the full amount. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY HERE! I received no information or assistance, but was charged $270. Seriously??? This is not a good option, find somewhere else.
