    Very Poor Quality of Care

I went to this Urgent Care Center on a Sunday because I have run out of refill for my Prescribe Medication Xanax I have been taking it for the last 11 years always prescribe by my PCP however I change my Insurance and had to change the PCP and as a new PCP she did not refill this medication on time, and the so call Dr in this Urgent Care told I cannot refill this medication is a control substance and as of July 1 there is a new law that Physiatric can only prescribe this medication and she was very upset about me ask for this medication like I was asking for something ILLEGAL I am 68 years old suffer from Insomnia after my menopause and also at the age of 57 I was diagnosed with panic attacks and I did not had an idea what was wrong with me or any knowledge of Panic Attacks.
However what the Dr fail to realize were the dangerous, side effects, include as follow:
A cold-turkey Xanax withdrawal can produce uncomfortable, and sometimes dangerous, side effects, including:

    Sleep disturbances
    Irritability
    Anxiety and/or panic attacks
    Trembling
    Inability to concentrate
    Nausea
    Heart palpitations
    Muscle pain and stiffness
    Headaches
    Serious side effects include:

    Seizures
    Psychosis
    Hallucinations
    Return to Xanax use.
There for I would not recommend this facility because the lack of knowledge of one Dr your life can be in dangerous.

    Waste of time and money

I paid a visit to MD Now in Pembroke Pines on a Friday morning out of desperation. I was had severe itching and burning in both eyes. The front desk staff was very nice and everyone moved quickly to get me seen. I was diagnosed with pink eye and was prescribed medication which I filled right after I left there at 9:00 am. I was also told if symptoms continue or worsen to follow up with my eye doctor. I spent the remaining portion of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and most of Monday in complete agony. At that point I made an appointment to see an eye doctor and was told I NEVER had pink eye.... The symptoms that would lead a person to pink eye never existed. What I had was allergies... When I question the staff at MD Now I was told that the Doctor diagnosed me "to the best of his ability". Well that sounds like he guessed. If he was unsure then I should have been redirected to an eye doctor the same day. I do not appreciate having my health played with and I believe this to be unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone go to this place.

    Stay Away!

First they rip you off, then customer service doesn't respond. Other then that they are happy to take your money. This place is the worst.

On 1/2/16, I went to MD Now with sudden hearing loss in one ear. The Doctor said he didn't know what the problem was or how to treat it.

He was unable to clear minor wax blockage so he suggested a lavage treatment that would definitely remove all the wax for an additional $40. I agreed. Despite his assurances the lavage process failed. $180 later ($140 office visit + $40 lavage) I walked out with nothing.

The doctor put in time. But the customer got nothing. They should have waived the unsuccessful lavage fee and charged only half for the visit. When ailing no one needs to feel ripped off.

To make that suggestion I filled out their website feedback form which failed. I emailed corporate. Nothing. I snail-mailed them! No response. So this review is my response to their no response. I won’t be going back and I’d advise others to stay away.
