THIS URGENT CARE IS RIP OFF WHEN IT COMES TO BILLING !

PLEASE NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY BILL ! YOU WILL END UP PAYING MORE THAN YOUR INSURANCE BENEFIT.
If i had the option i would give this place no stars.
I would strongly tell people to avoid this place due to the way they Bill. I visited them for an urgent care for my son who had fractured his thumb. 2 X-rays were done during the visit. As per my benefits i am supposed to pay only $50 per urgent care visit. However what happened is that for the 2nd X-Ray the reading was done by some other doctor on the next day due to which they sent another bill and this showed up at the Insurance Company's (CIGNA) end as a separate claim even though it is one urgent care visit due to which i was billed to pay an additional $31.50. The insurance company said that Children's Healthcare of Atlanta needs to send a corrected claim that indicates that the 2nd X-Ray reading even though it is done on next day but it is part of the one visit to the Urgent Care. But Billing Department at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta refuses to send a corrected claim. What this means is that if you visit this Urgent Care but if multiple doctors read the X-Ray on another day, you will end up paying for all the doctors.

    Misdiagnosed

We were out of state visiting family and my son got sick. He presented w a croupy cough and no voice. The Dr looked at his throat, ears, etc... and diagnosed him w croup. Days later and still no better so I took him to his Dr and they did a swab for strep and pertussis. The strep came back +. The urgent care Dr even looked at his throat, but never did a throat culture. He could have started antibiotics days ago, but instead, he suffered bc of a misdiagnosis. It's all a quick in and out money business
