    HORRIBLE

took my 22 month old to the Nicholasville location. I hated that I had to take him anywhere else other than his pediatrician, but it was Sunday. When I arrived there was only two people in front of me, so it was by no means busy. I waited THREE HOURS in the waiting room. THREE HOURS with a sick TWO YEAR OLD. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have been better off taking him to the ER. And when I finally got called back, My anxious, worn out (sick) toddler cracked the door open a few times. It was the only thing keeping him busy, I remind you after 3 hours of waiting. The receptionist had the nerve to tell my TWO year old. To stop it & sit down. I was absolutely appalled. I have worked many years in a hospital/ clinical care setting so I know all about HIPPA. He was completely out of line and disrespectful. His name was Brian. & I will not stop until disciplinary action is taken with that 'employee'. (Not to mention the amount of patients Brian turned away) I will never return here nor refer anyone to this location, EVER!

    The intake receptionist man!!

I have only been to this location 3 times, every time , the older receptionist man,,, who checks patients in,, was rude and tried to discourage me from waiting and being seen. He is hateful, rude and should not be working w the public. I am surprised he still has a job. On one visit he lied and told me my insurance was not accepted but it was, so i left and called my insurance co and I was covered for there. So I had to go back and register again,, and then had to wait 3 hrs to be seen. On my latest visit, I needed a tetanus shot due to a cut on my finger. I was there at 2:30 and closing time is 430. he discouraged me and told me to go to Express care in Nicholasville and i live in Lexington. SO i drove 10 min to the express care and they would not accept my Medicare an d medicaid ins. So I ended up having to go to the ER , due to his poor treatment of me and referring me to a place he knew did not take my insurance. I WILL be making a formal complaint on Monday. He has no business working there.

receptionist man,, the unhappy and rude one over age 50!

The previous poster, Brittany D, was telling the truth,,hes mean,, he turns patients away,, even w 2-5 hrs of avail. time, hes turned me away 3 times,,, i thought he had something personal against me,, until i read her post. Well, its now Dec 2014,, and she posted May 2014, so i guess Baptist care does not value their patients. LOL I have heard him yell at other children too. If I ever hear him yell at my grand babies, there will be an IMMEDIATE problem!!!! Hes a huge jerk and cost me time and money on sat, DEC 27th I will contact his boss.

    Good experiences

I have had both of my young boys here several times. Usually wait time isn't very long. Today I was told an hour, I had them call me when they were ready. We left and were able to run a few errands in Brannon crossing. Each doctor has always seemed capable and knowledgable. Now I will say, my kids have never had unique sicknesses, therefore it isn't that hard to diagnose them. Nursing staff and receptionist have always been nice.

    Rude

I would never go back to that place. Horrible customer service, with snarky/rude staff.

Really uninformed and unhelpful staff at this location

My daughter went for an ear infection and was prescribed an antibiotic. Two days later, she was worse, so she and I both called this location and were told the doctor who saw her was not there that day and the doctor at Brannon that day could not change the antibiotic unless she saw my daughter. When my daughter went that day, the doctor there said she couldn't help her because she "couldn't see her ear drums" and she instead scheduled her for an appointment over two weeks away with an ENT. We later found out that the doctor who saw my daughter the first time was at the Harrodsburg Road location that day and that if staff had just told us that, we could have gone there instead so she could see that same doctor. I called Brannon later that day and a staff member admitted that she knew the doctor my daughter initially saw was at the Harrodsburg location. The office is really poorly run, in my opinion. Two visits in one day to two different locations and it was totally unnecessary. Our primary care physician has very few same-day appointments, which is why we chose them, but never again.

Don't be scared of the bad reviews like I was

I was terrified to bring my son here after reading the reviews but this location is covered by my insurance and I had little choice. I was very pleased with everything at this facility. The staff are all friendly and informs. They all seemed to genuinely care and were quick and affective. There was hardly any wait time and X-ray results were back within minutes. I highly recommend this facility.

    The Worst

Staff is very disrespectful, doctors included. Did not listen to my symptoms, evaluation of physical symptoms was basic, prescribed medication to which I have an allergy, refused to change the prescription, and argued with me for 20 minutes about it. Staff belittled me for mentioning I too was a doctor, albeit visiting from out of town, and didn't seem to care that I have been working the UPMC for the last 27 years. I complained to the practice manager, nothing was ever done. Complained to Baptist patient relations, nothing was ever done. UPMC even filed a formal complaint on my behalf, but it was ignored by Baptist. This location really seems to not care about patients, and it seems like they are just looking to throw something at you to meet turnover quotas. I've heard from my adult children that the other location in Lexington also has the same problems, albeit much worse depending on the physician.

    Excellent Service

I experienced excellent service from registration/check-in to discharge. The clerk, radiology tech, nurses, and physician were all very compassionate and provided excellent care. This also included arranging for a specialist appointment that same morning. I was most impressed and appreciative that the physician called to check on me the same afternoon.

    I highly recommend this center.

Worst experience ever at a doctors office

I was seen by a man doctor not sure of his name at the new urgent care at baptist eastpoint in Louisville. The wait time was quick. But the doctors service was the worst I have ever gotten in my 30 years alive. I went in and left work early after having chest pains and apparently bad acid reflex never treated. Usually its ok to have a day off and be given some type of medication. NO. This doctor did not prescribe me a thing and said your free to go right back to work. Never in my life I felt so disrespected and had horrible service. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

    Nothing 'urgent' about this place

I came in to this facility with pain in my knee that increased while in their waiting room. The front desk attendants were disinterested in my condition, and made no effort to expedite my service. I was in so much pain I thought I might pass out, but people waiting for physicals were taken back before I was. I saw no doctor. I was told they had no way to manage my pain in their facility so I left for the nearby hospital emergency room. Very poor service and apparently very limited ability to deal with an 'urgent' condition.

    DON'T TRY HERE

As the above comment, front desk staff were completely disinterested and unhelpful, albeit unprofessional. ARNP quoted statistics, instead of listening to me, the patient, as to my problem with poison ivy/oak - not a new issue for me. She refused to give me 2 steroid injections, the ONLY thing this horrible allergy responds to, and one week later, I am STILL having problems and it is spreading. I then called FOUR times to try to speak with someone who has my chart - that would be Lisa twice, as well as Angelica twice - forget speaking to a MD as there is not one there, and Jaime says he cannot have anyone speak to me (now after 7 days and 3 hours) because they are busy - "I can leave a message for the next time a MD comes in." I don't think this clinice EVER has a MD! Not too busy to take my money and not treat my problem. Frankly, if I could dump Baptist Health Insurance, I would do that. AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COSTS. TERRIBLE SERVICE. The ONLY good thing is one RN who gives excellent injections - if that is you need.

Poor customer service with front office

Front office staff treated me and my son unfair, allowed other patients go back before us even though we arrived before other clients. When I asked them about why others were being seen before my son the receptionist became very defensive and unprofessional toward me as if I didn't matter. I was made to feel as if I were a second class citizen. If my son wasn't as sick as he was I would have left. The reception needs some training in customer service and cultural competency.
