Don't go there after 5:00 pm. There is no one to do an x-ray or lab work. All they can do is refer you to an ER and charge you 177.00 for being a new patient.

They are dishonest in their dealings. They do not tell you that they have no one after 5 to do x-rays or lab work, so if you go there and have a broken bone or infection, you are out of luck. They go ahead and charge you $177.00 for being a new patient and then try sending you off to an ER, telling you that you will need further tests. ( Not that you got any tests or x-rays from them.) They will tell you that your life is in danger if you don't go to the ER but then turn around and tell you that they can do some of the tests at a later date if you want to come back. It makes you wonder what the emergency is all about. You get no treatment, just a bill. IF you complain, they have a patient advocate, but they still insist you got treatment even when all you got was ten pieces of paper and "options". The options they gave was an unnecessary and costly ER visit or a few tests in their clinic. They are a joke. Save yourself the time and expense and go to a real clinic.

    Referred to ER

Child had a stomach virus. Needed something to stop the vomiting, diarrhea , etc., but they wanted to send him to ER for IV "to replace his fluids". We left after getting back our money. Another urgent care gave him a Zofran and he was able to drink and retain water almost immediately. And charged us less for the office visit, too. If you ask me they just wanted to send him to hospital to make more money. I wouldn't go there again.

    Warning, this place is inept!

Beware ! This place just wants your money and is filled with INEPT doctors! I just moved to Colorado Springs and was looking for a new GP. CSHP set me up with Dr. David A. Smolev. I told Dr. Smolev the medications that my previous physician had given me for the past 10 years. After insulting my previous physician he told me he wanted to switch me to medications he felt would better suit my condition. The medications he prescribed made my condition worse than it is ever been! After speaking with another physician he told me I should've never been placed on those medications. Upon some research I found out this doctor attained his medical training at a school owned by DeVry Tech Schools that is located in the Dominican Republic. On top of that their billing department is now trying to extort an extra $145 from me when I already paid $125 at the time of visit. If you read the rest of the reviews it shows this place uses predatory billing practices and Underqualified doctors.
